Displaced is an abstract, black-and-white neo-noir in the tradition of surrealist cinema like David Lynch’s Eraserhead, Orson Welles’ The Trial, and Charlie Kaufman’s I’m Thinking of Ending Things. It is written and directed by Raphael Pacheco, a veteran producer of indie shorts and web series, in his first film since moving to Oklahoma.
